Cameron Leith

The Angel Cabernet Sauvignon 2008

Vibrant red-purple this Cabernet Sauvignon, with small additions of Cabernet Franc and Merlot displays lifted red and dark berry fruit aromas complemented by a touch of perfume and some enticing spice. These lead on to the palate, which is textural with well-integrated, fine tannins. A complex wine with finesse.

Sparkling Chardonnay 'Daylesford' - 36 months on lees 2008

We are starting to see some exciting signs of development in this vintage sparkling Chardonnay. It's showing a persistent mousse and a fine bead. We are also seeing some enticing developed citrus characters complemented by some nice yeast complexity. The palate is very well balanced with a light creamy mouthfeel - making it perfect as a spring aperitif (or equally good with crème brûlée as we have discovered!).

Graeme's Blend Shiraz Cabernet 2008

The deep red-purple colour is the first indication of this wine's power. Complex aromas of dark fruits are interwoven with spice, vanilla and aniseed. In addition the palate shows a superb balance of tannin and acidity complemented by the lingering fruit. We believe it's a great example of this classic Australian blend.

Bendigo Shiraz 2010

Purple crimson in colour. The wine has enticing aromas of blackberry and dark fruit complemented by some nice spice and a whiff of perfume, typical of the Zonnebeke vineyard. The palate is very well structured with good acidity and fine tannins. While drinking well now, this classic Bendigo Shiraz well benefit from cellaring for a further 6-8 years.
