Wine Glass

Two Mates Shiraz 2005

Graeme Leith and Stefano de Pieri have been mates for 27 years, Stefano cooking, Graeme making the wine. They had long contemplated the idea of making a wine from specially selected premium Victorian Shiraz; this is the second such bottling. The grapes have been sourced from three separate vineyards and matured in mainly French and some fine grained, water bent American oak, then blended. The result is a deep, full-bodied voluptuous wine. A classic Bendigo Shiraz, far more interesting and complex than most others.

DRINK WITH: any rich lamb or beef dish.
