Cameron Leith

Reserve Shiraz 2005

Clear dark red to black; with a bouquet of dark berries, blackberry predominant. On the palate the dark berries come through, a slight impression of sweetness from the alcohol complemented by a touch of well-integrated oak. It has the balance of fruit, tannin, acid and alcohol virtually perfect, giving a lovely mouthfeel and a lingering finish. It will improve with cellaring although very enjoyable right now.
