The best barrels of Cabernet in 2015 were a mixture of Serpentine and Axedale origin.
Both preferred batches enjoyed an extended maceration before pressing. These were held back and
not bottled until post vintage 2016. The wine displays pronounced aromas of delicious cassis, blue fruit, spice, perfume, dried herbs – it has it all aromatically and displays it elegantly.
The palate is full, with terrific fruit intensity. It’s focused with definition. One of the best Angels we’ve seen.
