25 year Graeme’s Blend Special Release - $184 per case
To mark the 25th year of Graeme’s Blend we are releasing a smartly packaged lay down six pack containing two each of the Graeme’s Blend ’05, ’04 and ’01. It’s a great presentation or gift pack, and has a line drawing of the old bird scarer himself (Graeme) on the lid. This will not be seen by everybody as an advantage, of course.
Two Mates Shiraz 2005 - $40/$430
Graeme Leith and Stefano de Pieri have been mates for 27 years, Stefano cooking, Graeme making the wine. They had long contemplated the idea of making a wine from specially selected premium Victorian shiraz; this is the second such bottling. The grapes have been sourced from three separate vineyards and matured in mainly French and some fine grained, water bent American oak, then blended. The result is a deep, full-bodied voluptuous wine. A classic Bendigo shiraz, far more interesting and complex than most others.
Reserve Shiraz 2006 - $35per bottle/$210per case (6 bottle limit)
Every year we set aside small quantities of select fruit from our vineyard for the
reserve shiraz. A beautifully structured wine, of which we are proud; it has
great mouthfeel, excellent balance of tannin, fruit and alcohol with a whiff
of quality oak. With its raspberry/mulberry flavours and gentle tannins
it displays a complexity and delicacy seldom found in central Victorian wines.

This is the first sparkling from our Musk vineyard, just beyond Daylesford in the Macedon Ranges. With flavours of crisp white pear, citrus, a touch of yeastiness from its six months on lees and added complexity from a small percentage of four year old Musk chardonnay, this is a superb example of cool climate sparkling
