The Serpentine and Bridgewater vineyards are both situated near the Loddon River. The Loddon Shiraz is a beautiful blend of both of these vineyards and represents our Bendigo heritage.
Shiraz from Serpentine is a luxury gifted to us. Bendigo produces such high-quality Shiraz and we are blessed the good fortune to be making a wine this potent, and this indulgent. The Serpentine is luscious, full of heft, exuberant, and damn good drinking. In contrast Shiraz from Bridgewater, just 15 minutes down the road shows itself as a juxtaposition; powerfully restrained. Warm daytime and cool overnight growing conditions, with minimal seasonal rainfall allows for true organic practices with optimal ripening, and viticulturally, is an ideal representation of the semi-arid climate.
