Estate 2021 Pinot Noir - Trophy Winner

On Wednesday the 9th November we attended the Macedon Ranges Vignerons Association(MRVA) Wine Exhibition lunch and wine awards. It's been a while since we entered this wine show, as due to Covid many wine shows were cancelled.

This Wine Show is of great importance to us, as the MRVA are the wine body that looks after all the wineries in this region. As the Macedon Ranges is a cool climate producing are Pinot Noir and Chardonnay are the top two categories for this region. We are also very humbled to be up against the high level of wineries included in this category.

Our Estate Pinot Noir 2021 was awarded a gold medal along aside Hesket Estate. Both very different in style, but these vineyards are from the coolest areas of Macedon. Ours being 742mASL and Hesket at 600mASL.

We were delighted and humbled to receive the Trophy for this wine - Pinot Noir is a beautiful grape and at 742mASL it is produced at our Estate vineyard at Musk with regenerative agricultural and bio dynamic principles.

The Estate Pinot Noir 2021 is available via ourWineShopor through our Cellar Door 7 days a week.
